What We Do

Jesus’ Commission

The Church of Jesus Christ has but one mission: Make Disciples and Teach   Disciples – Worldwide – until He returns (Matt 28:19).

Anything and everything that we do must be embodied and enveloped within this mandate from The Head of the Church-Christ Jesus, who is both Lord and Savior of His vast body of believers encompassing multitudes from ages past to rapture to come.

ETRM is a ministry that is Kingdom focused, Holy Spirit inspired and mission driven to accomplish the work that He has called us to, and is equipping us to finish. We are not here for fame, prestige, power, promotion, self-exaltation, money, wealth, glory nor honor. We are here to exalt the King of glory and to assist the work of the Holy Spirit in the harvest of as many of His sheep as He has ordained for us to turn and to shepherd into His Kingdom.

We know neither the day nor the hour of His return for His Church and the ensuing establishing of His visible earthly Kingdom, but we do know that with every passing minute, we are that much nearer to the manifestation of these precious promises. It is therefore our individual duty to be ready by rapture or to be ready by resurrection from death. We have an equally important corporate duty to be 'living epistles', known and read of men, while also assisting in 'pulling others out of the fire', while also 'looking diligently' and praying fervently for His kingdom to come.'. "Knowing the time, that now it is high time to awaken out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed”. The world will never know the time, because their understanding is being blinded by a world system that is operating under the influence and control of the prince of darkness. It is however, inexcusable, and it should also be inexplicable for those who name the name of Christ to be existing in this same world, and yet existing as if they are altogether unaware of the times in which we now live.

WHY ARE WE DOING WHAT WE ARE DOING

Step 1 - Because God so loved you and the world

Does God love me? The answer is in the Bible, God’s Word to us:  “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” — Jeremiah 31:3

God loves you, and He loves you with a love beyond understanding, because there is no human love comparable to divine love. He wants to forgive you. He wants to have a relationship with you.  “God is love.” — 1 John 4:16

It doesn’t make any difference how far you try to run from God. He loves you. His eye is on you. He sees you. God loves you, and the Bible says that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, from heaven to this earth for you. Christ came to this earth to pay for your sins on a cross. God has a plan for your life.

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord. ‘Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.’” — Jeremiah 29:11

God created you in His image, and you are important to God.

“Indeed the very hairs of your head are numbered.” — Luke 12:7

God knows who you are. He knows your name and everything about you. He cares for you.

Step 2 - That He gave His only Son

Who is Jesus? What does His life, death and resurrection mean for me?

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” — John 14:6

Many go through life unfulfilled, unfocused, searching—a blank canvas waiting for a picture of purpose to be painted on us. What does it all mean? And what does

Step 3 - That whoever believes in Him

Can God really change my life?

No matter who you are or how you’ve lived your life, God will receive you into His family. He will change you and make you complete. Trust Him and experience His mercy for yourself.

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” — Jeremiah 32:27.

God is holy. He is powerful. And He can change your life. “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in.” — Revelation 3:20  Do you hear God’s voice today? “The Spirit of the Lord will come upon you in power, … and you will be changed into a different person.” — 1 Samuel 10:6. Your new life can start now. So what do you have to do?

Step 4 - Should not perish

What do I have to do to go to heaven?

God isn’t waiting to judge you. God isn’t waiting to condemn you. He’s waiting to receive you with mercy, with love, with open arms, and forgive all your sins. Will you come to Him?  Will you turn from your sin and promise to live for Him? He can transform your life—and you can look forward to eternity with Him in heaven. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9

There is nothing you can do to earn God’s forgiveness; it is possible only by His grace when you have faith in Him. God is a loving God and wants to forgive you. He wants to welcome you into His family.

“To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.” — John 1:12

YOU CAN BECOME A CHILD OF GOD TODAY

He asked, ‘What must I do to be saved?’ They replied, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.’” — Acts 16:30, 31

Do you believe in what Jesus has done for you—dying on a cross to make a way for you to live?

But have eternal life.

God knows who you are, He loves you, and He wants you to know and love Him.

How do you do that?

You must first admit that, like everyone else, you are a sinner. Being sinners means that we are imperfect and do wrong; we fall short of God’s perfect standard. It also means we are separated from Him and deserve His judgment.

But He loves us! God sent His own Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. He died for your sins. He was punished so you don’t have to be. Not only that; death did not defeat Him. After three days, Jesus rose from the dead, alive again!

The only way to find forgiveness from God and to begin a relationship with Him is to trust in Jesus’ sacrifice for you and repent—turn from your sins. We urge you to take this step of faith today.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead.  I trust and will follow you as my Lord and Savior. Guide my life and help me to do your will. In your name, amen.”
